Healthcare · Per-space sensors

Every covered ADA bay, finally visible.

The decks patients rely on most are the hardest to monitor. Per-space sensors surfaced ADA and patient stalls in real time, with a driver map to reach them.

UC Davis Health — per-space visibility across covered patient and ADA decks.
The challenge

The most important stalls were the least visible.

Covered garages defeat aerial and camera-based counting, exactly the decks where patients, families, and ADA drivers need a space the moment they arrive.

Without live data, staff were fielding complaints about full ADA rows they had no way to confirm or act on.

The deployment

A sensor over every space that matters.

JAPA placed a sensor on each stall, so ADA, patient, and staff spaces report status in real time regardless of how deep in the structure they sit.

Because the system reads occupancy, not people or plates, it delivers the visibility a hospital needs without storing any personal information.

  • Live status on covered ADA and patient bays
  • A driver map that guides arrivals to open spaces
  • Occupancy only, no cameras, plates, or PII

“It has been a godsend to be able to see what spots at which lots are available in real time. Parking has always been my worst nightmare, and JAPA gave us answers we could actually act on.”
